Tower Hill

We'd like to tempt you!

There's more to see at the Museum than our slide show, so we'd like you to come visit and view the whole thing, but over the winter we will be posting the slides on our Facebook page ... starting with this one: Tower hill and Greystoke

This is an old photo taken from the Town Dock before the Tower was built or any of the trees were planted on the hill. You can see Greystone Manor on the right side, sticking up above the few trees.  It is still standing on Parry Sound Road and seems more nestled in now.  The shoreline is pretty industrialized too, compared to the present day.  The sawmills were replaced by tank farms owned by Shell and Esso that have since been removed and we are looking forward to a shoreline that will be more welcoming in its next incarnation!

Make sure you "like" us on Facebook so you don't miss any slides.
